Radiologic Technologist - Pinson, AL

Deliver outstanding patient care while showcasing your expertise as a Radiologic Technologist in a dynamic diagnostic imaging environment. This contract opportunity is designed to provide coverage for training needs, with an initial duration of 8 weeks and the potential for a 2-week extension.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour shifts: Monday, Thursday, Friday (7:00am – 7:30pm)
• Day shifts only; manager will discuss on-call requirement
• No weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, ideally within the last 3 years
• At least 1 year of travel assignment experience required
• Proficient in both OR procedures and general radiographic techniques
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and radiology imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health personnel to facilitate efficient workflow within the unit
• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to imaging activities
• Contribute to a positive department culture by upholding best practices and participating in quality assurance activities
