Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  • State licensure (as applicable) for Radiologic Technologists
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiology or X-ray Tech
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of radiology safety protocols and procedures
  • Outstanding attention to detail and professional communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging according to physician orders and clinical standards
  • Accurately position patients and operate radiologic equipment to achieve optimal images
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with departmental policies
  • Effectively communicate imaging procedures to patients and answer any questions
  • Follow established guidelines for infection control and equipment sterilization
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other care providers to facilitate timely, high-quality results
