Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
• State licensure as required for radiologic technologists.

• Prior experience in a radiology department or imaging center preferred.
• Knowledge of radiation safety procedures and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiology and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure quality of images while adhering to safety protocols and minimizing radiation exposure.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and answering questions to ensure comfort.
• Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques.
• Process, review, and transmit images for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Support the healthcare team by contributing to a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
