This role is an exciting pathway to deepen your experience in radiology by collaborating with both shift leads and imaging supervisors. You’ll work in a well-equipped department with four general X-ray and two fluoroscopy suites, utilizing advanced GE and Shimadzu equipment. Engaging with a high-volume, diverse caseload (80-100 studies per day), you’ll rotate between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and portables, supporting comprehensive patient care. Exposure to different leadership styles and innovative clinical practices provides invaluable experience to strengthen your resume for future career opportunities.
Schedule/Hours:
- Mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts—assigned for both days and nights
- Schedule is posted at least two weeks in advance
- Weekend shifts vary (some every weekend, some every other, shift dependent)
- Holiday shifts required if scheduled
- Occasional call may be required (45-minute response time)
Qualifications:
- Current BLS required
- ARRT RT(R) certification
- Proficient in performing all General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and OR imaging exams
- Adaptable to floating between X-ray, Fluoro, OR, ED, and portables
- Experience with EPIC EMR and SECTRA PACS preferred
Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform a range of imaging studies in general X-ray, fluoroscopy, OR, and ED settings
- Adapt to different settings and workflow needs as patient volume fluctuates
- Collaborate effectively with on-site radiologists and a supportive multidisciplinary team
- Follow professional dress code—scrubs can be any color, and hospital scrubs are provided for OR use
- Participate in departmental orientation during first three days
