Advance your healthcare career in a vital radiology department, providing expert imaging services for adult and pediatric patients in a large, multi-specialty setting. This contract opportunity places you at the heart of a busy facility where you’ll utilize your radiologic expertise across inpatient and outpatient care, including a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU.

Key Details:

  • Shift: 12-hour nights, Friday–Sunday (6:30pm–7:00am), totaling 36 hours per week
  • Contract role with the main Radiology department; assignments may vary within the unit
  • Patient types: Both adult and pediatric (primarily outpatient/ED)
  • Typical workload: Average of 4 patients per hour (approx. 40 daily)
  • Orientation: One 8-hour hospital orientation plus 2–3 dayshift shadowing shifts

Qualifications:

  • Must hold current ARRT certification
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience; 2 years required if this is your first travel assignment
  • Strong fluoroscopy, diagnostic, portable, surgical, and trauma X-ray experience required
  • O-arm and DEXA experience considered a plus
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR, GE, Siemens, Konica, and Carestream imaging equipment preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic and fluoroscopic X-ray procedures for a diverse patient population
  • Provide imaging support in trauma, surgical, and portable settings as needed
  • Float throughout different areas within the radiology department as assigned
  • Deliver patient care in accordance with department protocols and hospital policies
  • Collaborate with a dynamic care team in a fast-paced environment
