Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and assist with radiology exams, including X-rays, following physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Operate radiographic equipment and adjust controls to obtain optimal images for diagnostic interpretation
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation of procedures performed
  • Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and infection control requirements
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members for effective patient care coordination
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and promptly reporting issues

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification as an X-ray or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Applicable state licensure, as required
  • Proficiency with up-to-date imaging software, PACS, and digital radiography systems
  • Demonstrated experience in a clinical imaging environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
