Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid certification or license as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- Experience operating digital X-ray and radiologic imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning
- Ability to accurately follow physician orders and produce precise diagnostic images
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and quality standards
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray and radiology procedures as ordered by physicians
- Accurately position patients to capture optimal images while explaining procedures for patient comfort
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment ensuring safety and functionality
- Adhere to compliance and safety guidelines in line with departmental and regulatory standards
- Record patient histories, document procedures, and manage digital images within the healthcare record system
- Assist with workflow efficiency, helping to maintain a smooth and patient-centered environment
