X-Ray Technologist | Rochester, Michigan

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in radiology to provide essential diagnostic services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with advanced technology and a supportive team dedicated to quality patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling available
• No on-call shifts

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of experience as an X-ray or Radiologic Technologist
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, including GE units, OEC C-arms, and Carestream Portables
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and patient well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by healthcare providers
• Ensure the safe, effective use of imaging equipment, adhering to protocol and best practices
• Support the care team by preparing patients, explaining procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Maintain hygiene, infection control protocols, and confidentiality standards throughout care
