Radiologic Technologist in Rochester, MI

Schedule:

• 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling available
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Completion of a high school diploma
• Valid BLS certification
• ARRT (R) certification required
• At least 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist or X-ray tech
• Familiarity with GE systems, OEC C-arms, and Carestream portables
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Obtain high-quality radiographic images per physician orders
• Operate diagnostic equipment (GE, OEC C-arms, Carestream Portables) safely and efficiently
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for various diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain proper documentation
• Adhere to established protocols, including all safety and infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide timely and compassionate patient care
• Assist with workflow in the imaging department as assigned
