Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in X-ray imaging procedures and general radiology equipment.
  • Knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety standards.
  • Previous experience as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
  • Familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic medical records (EMR).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct X-ray and general radiology examinations as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Operate radiologic equipment and ensure accurate image production for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Follow established protocols to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and image records within the EMR system.
  • Maintain equipment by performing regular checks and reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
