An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled imaging professional with experience in radiology and CT technology. This contract position focuses on the overnight weekend shift, ideal for those with strong clinical expertise seeking a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

  • Weekend overnight: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Shift hours: 4:30 pm – 5:00 am

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing CT imaging in a hospital setting
  • Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center required
  • Current ARRT (R) certification; CT credential preferred
  • Proficiency with X-ray and radiologic technologist responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with medical team staff
  • BLS certification through AHA or equivalent (active or able to renew before start)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanning equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images, following established protocols and safety procedures
  • Support trauma and emergency teams during high-acuity cases, ensuring rapid and accurate imaging for urgent patient needs
  • Perform X-ray studies as needed; maintain proper documentation of all imaging procedures
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during all scans, practicing proper radiation protection
  • Communicate findings with radiologists and other healthcare providers in a timely manner
  • Participate in on-the-job training, equipment checks, and quality assurance measures
