Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R))
  • Current state license to practice as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS certification required
  • Recent experience in a clinical setting performing radiographic imaging
  • Strong knowledge of equipment operation, positioning, and radiation safety
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Schedule/Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays as ordered by providers
  • Operate imaging equipment with accuracy and safety, ensuring quality of images
  • Prepare and position patients following proper techniques for optimal image capture
  • Adhere to protocols governing radiation exposure and patient protection
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment in the imaging suite
  • Communicate findings and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff
  • Assist with patient education and answer questions related to radiology procedures
