As a Radiology Tech, you’ll contribute to a high-volume imaging department, gaining invaluable experience alongside skilled professionals and seasoned leadership. Working within both state-of-the-art GE and Toshiba-equipped rooms, you’ll support a robust caseload (averaging 100 studies per day) and stay on the cutting edge of radiology practices. Exposure to multiple imaging modalities—brain, MRCP, abdominal, pelvic, and extremity studies—will help diversify your skills and keep your resume sharp for future roles.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Every other weekend required
  • Rotating call (30-minute response time)
  • Holiday coverage: 1 major and 1 minor per year

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging using GE and Toshiba equipment
  • Manage and document cases via Radnet and Merge Unity systems
  • Follow precise imaging protocols for diverse studies
  • Adapt to department scheduling, including potential float coverage at a nearby location (approx. 6.5 miles away)
  • Collaborate closely with in-house radiologists and clinical leads
  • Adhere to department-specific protocols and dress code (teal scrubs provided)
  • Participate in comprehensive orientation with department lead

Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT credential and BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ radiology experience—travel experience a plus
  • Strong familiarity with EMR/PACS, particularly Radnet and Merge Unity
  • Flexibility for rotating call and multi-site coverage
