This assignment promises significant professional growth, guiding you through a busy imaging department where you’ll interface with multiple teams and diverse patient populations. Collaborate with experienced supervisors and lead techs while enhancing your technical abilities across various platforms and scheduling models. You’ll strengthen your resume with exposure to multiple imaging modalities, advanced equipment, and innovative workplace practices.
Schedule:
- Assigned shifts—mixture of 10-hour and 12-hour days and nights
- Schedule posted a minimum of 2 weeks in advance
- Rotating weekends and holiday coverage depending on staffing needs
- Occasional call with a 45-minute response time
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- ARRT RT(R) certification and current BLS required
- Proficiency in all General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and OR imaging
- Familiarity with GE, Shimadzu, and OEC C-Arm equipment
- Competency using EPIC (EMR) and SECTRA (PACS) platforms
- Ability to adapt to float between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portables
- Average department volume: 80-100 studies per 24-hour period
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive diagnostic imaging services
- Collaborate with radiologists, lead techs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Adhere to established protocols ensuring quality and patient safety
- Support continuum of care throughout the department, with no IV starts required
