Radiologic Technologist in Sterling Heights, MI

Step into a vital role supporting patient care with your expertise in imaging as a Radiologic Technologist. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with overnight hours, perfect for professionals skilled in radiology and X-ray imaging. Work with advanced technology and a collaborative clinical team to produce high-quality diagnostic images for a diverse patient population.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate radiology equipment, including GE and OEC C-arms and Carestream portable units, to capture diagnostic images as ordered by providers
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and safety during imaging procedures
• Properly document procedures and maintain imaging records in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff
• Adhere to infection control and quality assurance protocols
• Deliver compassionate patient care, addressing questions and concerns regarding imaging procedures

Schedule:

• 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Every other weekend required
• Block scheduling available
• No on-call duties

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Active ARRT (R) certification and current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology or X-ray Technologist
• Proficient in using GE and OEC C-arm equipment and Carestream portable imaging systems
• Strong communication and patient service skills
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing clinical needs
