Radiology Technologist in Sterling Heights, MI

This contract opportunity involves delivering high-quality imaging support, particularly for trauma and operating room procedures.

Schedule:

• 11:00 am – 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm, every other weekend

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum experience at a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility is essential
• Prior operating room imaging experience is needed
• Ortho, neuro, and vascular case experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated adaptability to variable workload and surgical schedules
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures with accuracy and compassion in high-acuity situations
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff in the operating room setting
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment effectively, ensuring patient safety and image clarity
• Respond promptly to trauma activation and support emergent needs as part of the imaging team
• Prepare and position patients for a wide range of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
• Accurately document procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards
