Deliver essential diagnostic services in a dynamic clinical environment, utilizing your skills as an experienced Radiology/X-ray Technologist. This contract opportunity features consistent weekday hours and supports a team dedicated to advanced patient care and timely imaging.

Schedule:

  • 11:00am – 7:30pm, Monday through Friday
  • 1:00pm – 11:30pm, every other weekend

Required Qualifications:

  • Active ARRT certification and current BLS credential
  • Substantial experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma setting
  • Prior Operating Room exposure, with preferred proficiency in orthopedic, neuro, or vascular procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate imaging standards

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray and general radiographic procedures following safety and quality protocols
  • Support surgical teams during procedures by delivering timely, high-quality intraoperative imaging
  • Stay attentive to emergent trauma imaging needs while prioritizing cases for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain positive communication with patients, surgeons, nurses, and peers to ensure seamless workflow
  • Properly document imaging findings and patient interactions within department guidelines
  • Remain up-to-date on imaging techniques and infection prevention practices
