Step into a vital role delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care within a dynamic medical environment. This position calls for a skilled Radiology Technologist with strong X-ray expertise and advanced abilities in trauma and surgical settings.
Schedule:
- 3:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Documented experience in at least level 1 or 2 trauma care
- Proven skills in operating room imaging, with preference for exposure to orthopedic, neurological, and vascular cases
- Demonstrated ability to adapt under pressure and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations following physician orders and standardized protocols
- Provide expert imaging support during trauma resuscitations and a variety of surgical procedures
- Prepare and operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring accurate image capture for diagnosis
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and OR staff, maintaining sterile technique and optimizing workflow in acute situations
- Assess and respond appropriately to patient needs, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Document procedures and maintain imaging records in accordance with regulatory and quality standards
- Participate in ongoing education to remain current with advancements in imaging technology and trauma protocols
