Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Imaging as a Radiology Technologist (X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist) for a contract opportunity. This essential healthcare role supports quality patient care through the production of clear, accurate diagnostic images and the safe management of radiologic equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Proficiency in performing general radiology and X-ray procedures
• Previous experience in an acute care or outpatient imaging environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety practices
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to perform X-ray exams according to established protocols
• Adhere to proper safety standards for patients and staff, including the use of lead shields and appropriate exposure settings
• Accurately capture, label, and store images in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and answer questions compassionately
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to ensure optimal image quality and clinical information is obtained
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
• Help maintain equipment through routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting
• Stay current with continuing education and advancements in imaging technology
