Step into a dynamic healthcare environment where your expertise as an Imaging – Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist will have a direct impact on patient care quality. This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated professional who feels confident in the operating room and brings experience from a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital setting.

Schedule:

  • Shifts: Five 8-hour shifts, 15:00–23:30
  • Every 3rd weekend rotation, same hours
  • Call time required during your scheduled weekend

Qualifications:

  • Valid ARRT certification or equivalent and current state licensure required
  • Proficient with portable, fluoroscopic, and operating room imaging procedures
  • Prior experience in high-acuity trauma (Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital preferred)
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety according to ALARA principles
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Skilled in effective patient communication, education, and thorough documentation
  • Familiarity with hospital information service systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document routine portable, fluoroscopic, and operating room radiologic procedures as requested by physicians
  • Establish clear, effective communication with medical staff and ancillary departments to support optimal patient outcomes
  • Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and hospital policies, including incident reporting
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, ensuring a positive care experience
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and clinical competence in all interactions
  • Be adaptable to additional related duties that support the team and improve department efficiency
