Radiologic Technologist in Warren, MI

Experienced imaging professionals are invited to apply for a dynamic position performing critical radiologic technology services. Schedule:

• 13-week contract assignment
• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling; weekends are included
• No on-call responsibility

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Active ARRT (R) credentials
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of one year previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Proficiency with GE technology, OEC C-arms, and Carestream portable imaging equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate diagnostic X-ray equipment and produce high-quality radiologic images according to physician orders
• Ensure patient safety through proper positioning, shielding, and adherence to radiation protection protocols
• Verify imaging orders, obtain accurate patient histories, and provide compassionate patient care during imaging procedures
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare staff to deliver timely, efficient imaging services
• Maintain and calibrate equipment to manufacturer and department standards
• Accurately document procedures and maintain records in compliance with departmental policies
