Step into an impactful role performing advanced Radiologic and X-ray procedures within a high-quality imaging environment. This is a 14-week contract position starting June 29, 2026, and concluding October 2, 2026, with a full-time weekly commitment.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • 40 hours per week / 8-hour shifts

Qualifications:

  • ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist) certification required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in radiology/imaging
  • Familiarity with imaging systems such as PACS and RIS preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Explain imaging procedures and ensure optimal patient preparation and comfort
  • Review clinical information and conduct prescribed radiologic studies according to department protocols
  • Operate radiographic equipment, apply correct positioning, and follow ALARA safety practices for radiation protection
  • Prepare sterile equipment and maintain infection control standards
  • Administer IV contrast media when appropriate, monitoring for potential patient reactions and responding as necessary
  • Complete imaging documentation, logs, and electronic records, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into information systems
  • Teach and support new radiology staff or students as needed, without compromising core duties
  • Work closely with radiologists, reviewing clinical protocols to provide the highest standard of diagnostic imaging
  • Uphold team standards of professionalism, including positive communication and respect for patient privacy
