Radiologic Technologist - Waxhaw, NC

Deliver essential diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic environment as a skilled Radiologic Technologist with experience in X-ray and general radiology procedures. This contract opportunity features a consistent weekend shift schedule and is designed for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Weekend rotation is required
• Expect to work 75% of scheduled holidays

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Proficiency in operating X-ray and digital imaging equipment
• Demonstrated experience in radiology or imaging departments
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and radiation protection practices
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-rays and imaging procedures according to established protocols
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records
• Review images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretations
• Maintain and clean imaging equipment, reporting technical issues promptly
• Adhere to infection control and organizational safety guidelines
• Provide clear instructions to patients and answer questions regarding procedures
