This contract opportunity calls for a skilled Radiology / X-ray Technologist to support critical diagnostic imaging services in a leading regional healthcare facility. Contribute your expertise caring for diverse patient populations, including adult inpatients, outpatients, and occasionally pediatric cases in a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center.
Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm – 7:00am, Friday-Sunday)
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekends as needed
- Holiday coverage per hospital policy
Qualifications:
- Active ARRT certification required (AL does not require additional licensure for X-ray)
- BLS certification required
- Fluoroscopy and surgery imaging experience required
- Proficiency with portable, trauma, and diagnostic X-ray equipment; O-arm experience preferred, DEXA a plus
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Cerner preferred)
- Adaptability to work with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy/X-ray rooms and portables
- Willingness to float within the main Radiology department
- Candidates with strong experience are encouraged to apply; first-time travelers welcome with at least 2 years relevant experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures for both scheduled and emergent cases (average 4 patients/hour)
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to inpatient and outpatient populations
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a busy hospital environment
- Complete documentation and manage workflow in Cerner EMR
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
