Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification and valid state licensure required
- Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech
- Proficient in operating and maintaining radiology equipment, including digital and portable X-ray units
- Thorough understanding of imaging safety standards and infection control protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
- BLS certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiologic and X-ray imaging studies as ordered by healthcare providers
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for diagnostic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Accurately document patient information and ensure seamless integration into electronic records
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and regulatory requirements at all times
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to support precise diagnoses
- Assist with additional tasks or imaging procedures as directed by supervising staff
