This travel opportunity is designed for experienced surgical technologists, both certified and non-certified, who thrive in dynamic operating room settings and seek to enhance their clinical expertise. You'll collaborate with established perioperative teams, broaden your surgitech skillset with a primary focus on orthopedic and general procedures, and gain valuable perspectives from diverse leadership styles and workplace practices. These new experiences add significant depth to your resume while providing opportunities to develop professionally.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend coverage required (including either Monday or Friday; primary shift: 7a–7p)
  • Flexible weekday coverage (choose from 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, details discussed during interview)

Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (preferred) or Experienced Uncertified Scrub Tech
  • Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience in surgical scrubbing—ready to hit the ground running
  • Proficient in both orthopedic and general surgical cases
  • Strong collaborative skills, adaptable to different team environments
  • Maintains a commitment to best practices in patient care and surgical safety

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and environments for procedures
  • Scrub for a broad array of orthopedic and general surgeries
  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff intraoperatively with effective teamwork
  • Ensure sterile technique is maintained at all times
  • Contribute knowledgeably in fast-paced and challenging clinical situations
