Schedule:
- 20-week contract
- Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
- 7:00 am – 5:00 pm schedule
- Call rotation required
Qualifications:
- Current certification with ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proven experience in General Ultrasound imaging techniques and procedures
- Skilled in gathering and documenting accurate patient histories as related to imaging activities
- Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other clinicians
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic general ultrasound procedures with a high degree of clinical skill and patient care sensitivity
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with established standards
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely completion of exam documentation
- Assist radiologists and referring physicians in reviewing and interpreting ultrasound results
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
- Flexibly participate in required call rotation and adjust to workflow needs as directed by leadership
