Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Ultrasound Technology program
• Current ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in general ultrasound imaging, including abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts
• At least one year of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interactions with patients and healthcare staff
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of general ultrasound examinations with accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Operate ultrasound equipment, adjust settings for optimal imaging, and produce quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to communicate findings as needed
• Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records, documenting procedures and outcomes according to department standards
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after imaging procedures
