Combine your expertise in diagnostic imaging with a dynamic contract opportunity for a skilled ultrasound professional. This role calls for an experienced technologist confident in performing a range of general and vascular ultrasound procedures—excluding ABIs and segmental pressures—in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 p.m.–5:30 a.m. or 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
- Weekend on-call: Weekend back-up call required every 4th weekend
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general and vascular ultrasound imaging (excluding ABIs and segmental pressure studies)
- Current ARDMS certification is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive general and vascular ultrasound imaging as ordered by clinicians, documenting accurate findings
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure images meet quality standards for diagnostic interpretation
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout exams
- Adhere to strict infection control and equipment sterilization procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care and timely reporting
- Respond to on-call requests as scheduled, providing additional support during back-up call weekends
