Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Proven competency in general ultrasound imaging
  • Thorough understanding of infection control and sterile techniques
  • Experience in both independent and collaborative work settings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients and peers

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide array of ultrasound examinations per established protocols, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging
  • Correctly identify patients, verify orders, and prepare patients for procedures, delivering excellent customer service and patient education
  • Assist students and less experienced technologists, sharing expertise and supporting procedural competency
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of patient information, exams performed, and equipment maintenance
  • Address emergency situations with professionalism, adapting quickly and prioritizing patient safety
  • Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and sound clinical judgment throughout all imaging procedures
