This travel imaging role provides an ideal environment for professional development, exposing you to a variety of patient populations, workplace procedures, and leadership philosophies that will enhance your resume and expand your clinical skillset. Collaborate closely with a supportive medical staff as you deliver high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the Cardiopulmonary department.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Variable schedule

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Allied Health school with additional ultrasound training
  • ARDMS registration—Adult Vascular and ECHO required
  • BLS certification (AHA required)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in general ultrasound, including adult cardiac echo
  • Experience scanning pediatric patients is a plus but not required
  • Strong working knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and pediatric/adult vascular/cardiac systems

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound studies on adult patients
  • Operate a variety of imaging and diagnostic equipment (ultrasound, doppler, EKG, Holter monitor, stress testing)
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Maintain high standards in all diagnostic testing and ensure patient safety
  • Adapt care to the diverse needs and backgrounds of all patient populations
  • Maneuver equipment and position patients for optimal imaging, even during portable or lengthy exams
