Ultrasonographer in Beatrice, NE

Embark on a rewarding opportunity specializing in general ultrasound imaging as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer. This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment alongside a dedicated team of professionals.

Schedule and Assignment Details:

• 20-week assignment
• 4x10 schedule: Monday through Thursday
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Participation in call rotation required

Qualifications:

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) credentials
• Proven expertise in general ultrasound imaging within a clinical setting
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of the imaging team
• Flexibility to respond to call rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and proper imaging techniques
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and related equipment, ensuring safety standards are met
• Accurately document findings, maintain patient records, and report results to interpreting physicians
• Uphold infection prevention practices and regulatory compliance
• Provide compassionate patient care, answering questions and addressing concerns with professionalism
