Qualifications:

  • Current ARDMS certification is required

  • Demonstrated skill and confidence in operating modern ultrasound technology
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and patients
  • Adaptability and composure in a rapidly evolving clinical environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including both OB and general scans
  • Prioritize and manage a steady workflow to accommodate urgent and routine imaging requests
  • Ensure images meet strict clinical and technical standards for physician review
  • Accurately document patient history, examination details, and technical findings in the electronic health record system
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures within a level 1 trauma environment
  • Deliver clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout their examination
