Ultrasonographer in Binghamton, NY

Step into an essential role conducting general ultrasound imaging and sonography procedures in a dynamic healthcare environment. This full-time contract assignment is ideal for professionals ready to deliver high-quality imaging services alongside a supportive clinical team.

Schedule:

• 7AM – 7PM Wednesday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks required
• Active certification in one of the following:
  • Sonography (S) by ARRT
  • Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
  • Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • State licensure as required
  • DMS by MIRTP NMED
• Current BLS certification from AHA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate ultrasound imaging for diagnostic and interventional applications
• Adhere to clinical protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, relaying critical imaging data as needed
• Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment
• Stay current with best practices and protocol changes in sonography
