Ultrasonographer in Binghamton, NY

Schedule:

• 7 AM – 7 PM, Wednesday through Friday
• No weekend shifts
• No on-call requirement

Key Qualifications:

• At least one year of general ultrasound scanning experience preferred
• Proficiency with computers and electronic health records
• Valid certification in one or more of the following:
  • Sonography (S) by ARRT
  • Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT (preferred)
  • Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
  • Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS (preferred)
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
  • DMS by MIRTP NMED
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• State licensure, if applicable

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures with accuracy and compassion
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure quality diagnostic images
• Maintain patient privacy, safety, and comfort during procedures
• Document procedures and results clearly and efficiently
• Contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement
