Ultrasonographer Tech - Boca Raton, Florida

Make a difference in patient care by leveraging your expertise in diagnostic imaging as an Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals skilled in general ultrasound techniques with a specialty in breast imaging (ARDMS - BR required). The assignment spans 12 weeks, with the possibility of extension, at a well-established healthcare facility.

Please note: Applicants must not be permanent residents of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Every third Saturday of the month, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Key Qualifications:

• Active ARDMS credential with breast imaging (ARDMS - BR) certification
• Proven experience in performing a variety of general and specialized ultrasound procedures
• Proficient in producing high-quality diagnostic images and detailed reports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with both patients and clinical teams
• Ability to adapt to evolving technology and maintain quality standards
• Must be able to work according to the specified schedule; no on-call required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ultrasound and dedicated breast imaging studies with a high degree of accuracy
• Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout examinations
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
• Maintain equipment, manage records, and ensure safety and compliance with protocols
• Contribute to a positive and efficient workflow within the imaging department

$2,554 - $2,693/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
