Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current ARDMS certification or eligible status
  • Demonstrated experience in general ultrasound imaging procedures
  • Strong proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging protocols
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and infection control standards

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of general ultrasound imaging procedures as requested by ordering providers
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to review and discuss imaging results and recommendations
  • Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and positioning for all procedures
  • Document findings, maintain accurate patient records, and utilize PACS/RIS systems efficiently
  • Maintain exam rooms and equipment according to departmental infection control and safety standards
  • Offer compassionate care by addressing patient questions and concerns during exams

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
