Schedule:
- Midnight to 8:00 a.m.
- 5x8 hour shifts per week
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Current credentials as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
- Proficiency in General Ultrasound procedures
- Active licensure/certification as required by governing state
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt smoothly to new clinical settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret general ultrasound imaging procedures as ordered by providers
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Maintain accurate records and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Calibrate and operate ultrasound equipment according to manufacturer and facility standards
- Adhere strictly to infection control and patient privacy guidelines
- Communicate findings to radiologists and referring physicians
