Key Responsibilities:

• Operate all Ultrasound imaging and related equipment with precision
• Educate, position, and immobilize patients for Ultrasound procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Accurately coordinate and perform Ultrasound exams, adhering to physicians’ specifications for effective patient care
• Follow provider imaging orders and protocols correctly
• Submit required images and clinical data to the Radiologist for timely interpretation
• Continuously evaluate and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain clear, professional communication with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leaders
• Apply sterile techniques and infection prevention policies at all times
• Utilize, charge, and manage department supplies efficiently
• Manage multiple tasks while meeting department deadlines
• Transfer patients safely and assist as needed during procedures

Qualifications:

• Registered Sonographer with recognized credentials in General Ultrasound
• Previous experience in hospital or clinical imaging preferred
• Proficient in use of Ultrasound equipment and technology
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
