Ultrasonographer in Cary, NC

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts: Monday through Thursday

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) Ultrasound Tech is required
• Fetal Echo Certification is mandatory
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of general ultrasound imaging
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent credentials preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, focusing on maternal-fetal medicine and fetal echocardiograms
• Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpreting physicians
• Work closely with obstetricians, MFM specialists, and nursing staff to provide accurate and timely reports
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure all documentation is completed per policy
• Uphold stringent safety and infection control standards
• Provide clear explanations to patients and families regarding procedures and findings within scope
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate technical issues as necessary
