Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) or equivalent credential required
• Demonstrated expertise in general ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts studies
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation, safety procedures, and imaging quality standards
• Excellent communication and patient-interaction skills to create a comfortable, supportive environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound procedures according to provider orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to and during imaging examinations
• Accurately review, record, and process images for physician interpretation
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding exam results, findings, and any urgent considerations
