Step into a key role supporting patient care as an Ultrasound Technologist. In this contract position, your expertise in general imaging and sonography will be essential in delivering precise diagnostic services. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified as an Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent)
- Proficient in general imaging and ultrasound techniques, with hands-on experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts studies
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and clinical staff
- Adept at working with modern ultrasound equipment and maintaining high imaging standards
- Thorough knowledge of patient positioning, data acquisition, and exam protocols
- Ability to maintain accurate patient documentation and records
- Commitment to safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring optimal image quality
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure a positive experience
- Review and process images for interpretation, accurately documenting findings and observations
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to safety and operational guidelines
- Collaborate with the care team to report results and assist in follow-up as needed
- Adhere to departmental policies, HIPAA guidelines, and infection control protocols

$2,113 - $2,235/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
