Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) Ultrasound Tech is required
- Fetal Echo Certification is required
- Proficiency in general ultrasound imaging
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Detail-oriented with ability to recognize and escalate significant findings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality ultrasound exams with a focus on maternal-fetal medicine cases, ensuring accurate imaging and patient comfort
- Perform and interpret fetal echocardiograms, adhering to established protocols and maintaining clear communication with physicians
- Collaborate with MFM physicians and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive maternal and fetal care
- Review patient histories, update records, and verify physician orders to ensure appropriate imaging studies are performed
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, manage day-to-day cleanliness of imaging spaces, and ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and provide compassionate support throughout the process
