Ultrasonographer in Charlotte, NC

An opportunity is available for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to provide vital imaging support in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract role requires expertise in performing general ultrasound exams and adaptability to support patient care across multiple facilities.

Schedule:

• Rotating schedule totaling 36 hours per week
• Tuesday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekend rotation requirements will be discussed during your final interview and are subject to operational needs
• Holiday coverage is required for approximately 75% of holidays

Key qualifications and experience:

• Proficient in general ultrasound imaging procedures
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent, current and in good standing
• Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various clinical environments
• Flexibility to float as a night shift sonographer supporting ultrasound needs at multiple free-standing emergency departments as assigned
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered imaging services

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision and care
• Ensure accurate image capture and documentation in accordance with established protocol
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and clear diagnostic information
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness
• Support patient comfort and safety throughout examination procedures
• Float between designated facilities when scheduled on night shifts to support overall imaging needs

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
