Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS or equivalent national certification in General Ultrasound
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and imaging modalities
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced or changing healthcare settings
• Current BLS certification

Schedule:

• Contract assignment with variable/flexible shifts

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, following established protocols
• Accurately identify, label, and document anatomical structures and pathology for radiologist interpretation
• Ensure excellent patient preparation, comfort, and safety throughout the imaging process
• Maintain and operate sonography equipment, ensuring cleanliness and calibration standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical team members to ensure timely diagnostic results
• Properly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies
• Participate in ongoing education and stay current with advances in imaging technology and best practices
