An opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer skilled in general ultrasound procedures, ready to contribute to patient diagnoses and collaborate with multidisciplinary medical professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology/Sonography program
• Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or eligible
• Proficient in general ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with maintaining accurate records and following imaging protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ultrasound imaging examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring the highest standard of image quality
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes to ensure comfort and understanding
• Operate ultrasound equipment and use judgement for image optimization and diagnostic accuracy
• Evaluate images for technical quality and submit findings for physician interpretation
• Maintain accurate records, document patient information, and adhere to privacy/confidentiality regulations
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and functionality
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide seamless patient care during each shift

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
