A skilled imaging professional is needed for a contract opportunity specializing in General Ultrasound. Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting the diagnostic team as you capture high-quality ultrasound images and provide exceptional care to patients.

Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification or equivalent in General Ultrasound
• Demonstrated experience performing a wide range of general ultrasound studies
• Proficiency in using modern ultrasound equipment and technology
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team communication
• Ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation of findings
• Current BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ultrasound examinations across a diverse patient population, ensuring accuracy and excellence in diagnostic imaging
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring clinicians to interpret and convey sonographic findings
• Prepare patients for studies, explain procedures, and maintain patient comfort and confidence throughout exams
• Perform quality assurance checks on all images, confirming clarity and completeness
• Uphold infection control standards and ensure a clean, safe work environment
• Keep accurate records and assist in maintaining department documentation standards
• Support colleagues in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary imaging department
