Ultrasonographer in Cortland, NE

Schedule & Hours:

• 4x10 hour shifts: Monday through Thursday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call rotation required

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer specializing in general ultrasound imaging
• Active certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering precise, compassionate patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a dynamic clinical setting

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of general ultrasound examinations, ensuring technical quality and patient safety at all times
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the exam process, and maintain patient comfort and confidentiality
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Participate in the department’s call rotation as required, responding promptly to after-hours service needs
• Document procedures and outcomes thoroughly and timely in patient records
