Ultrasound Technologist - Denver, CO

Step into a crucial imaging role supporting patient care with advanced diagnostic technology. This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated professional skilled in both general and vascular ultrasound (excluding ABIs and segmental pressures). Your expertise will contribute to high-quality diagnostics and patient outcomes in a collaborative clinical environment.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday, either 9:00 pm–5:30 am or 10:00 pm–6:30 am
• On-call weekends: Serve as backup call every 4th weekend

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in general and vascular ultrasound preferred
• Strong proficiency in sonographic imaging (general and vascular, except ABIs/segmental pressures)
• Valid ARDMS certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and respond effectively to urgent cases
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety
• Document findings clearly for interpretation and patient records
• Adapt imaging protocols based on clinical scenarios as directed by providers
• Respond promptly to on-call requests or emergent cases during scheduled backup weekends
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, following safety and maintenance guidelines
• Provide compassionate patient care and instruction throughout procedures
