Ultrasonographer Tech | Denver, Colorado

Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to support a comprehensive imaging department in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality diagnostic care in a collaborative healthcare setting, utilizing advanced ultrasound technology.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 p.m. – 5:30 a.m. or 10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
• Weekend on-call duties: Backup call every 4th weekend

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience as an ultrasound tech/sonographer preferred
• Proficient in all general and vascular ultrasound procedures, excluding ABIs and segmental pressures
• Current ARDMS certification required
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general and vascular ultrasound studies, ensuring accurate imaging and timely reporting for physician review
• Review exam orders and patient histories; position and prepare patients to optimize image quality
• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation for each procedure and effectively communicate findings to medical staff
• Respond to on-call needs as scheduled, demonstrating flexibility and composure during high-acuity cases
• Adhere to infection control, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
