Ultrasonographer - Dublin, OH

A highly skilled medical imaging professional is needed for an engaging contract opportunity as an Ultrasound General Tech/Sonographer. This role specializes in providing quality diagnostic ultrasound services and compassionate patient care within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend nights

Qualifications:

• Valid ARDMS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
• Proficient in general ultrasound imaging procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations according to physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for a variety of ultrasound procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Analyze, document, and present imaging results for physician interpretation
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold all regulatory compliance standards
• Assist with daily equipment checks, routine maintenance, and quality assurance tasks
• Provide excellent patient care and respond appropriately to patient questions and concerns
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to support departmental and organizational goals
