Step into an exciting opportunity utilizing your expertise in general ultrasound imaging as a Sonographer. This position offers a 13-week engagement, providing valuable experience in a dynamic medical environment.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour night shifts weekly
- Monday through Thursday, 7:30pm – 6:00am
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience performing a range of general ultrasound studies
- Familiarity with modern imaging equipment and protocols
- Strong attention to detail in capturing and documenting images
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals
Role Responsibilities:
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
- Ensure proper patient positioning and comfort throughout the examination process
- Accurately document findings and assist with preparing reports for radiologists
- Communicate effectively with patients to alleviate concerns and explain procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to safety guidelines and infection control standards
- Manage workflow efficiently during overnight shifts, contributing to high patient care standards
