Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered or registry-eligible Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
• Proficiency in a wide spectrum of general ultrasound imaging procedures
• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), or the ability to obtain prior to start
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
• Previous clinical experience in a hospital or imaging center environment preferred
• Attention to detail and adept at maintaining high technical standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic general ultrasound examinations on diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for effective patient care coordination
• Accurately document and communicate all findings to interpreting radiologists
• Ensure equipment is safely and properly maintained, performing quality control checks regularly
• Follow all safety protocols, infection control standards, and organizational policies
• Educate and comfort patients throughout the imaging process to ease concerns and promote cooperation
• Remain up-to-date on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in sonography
