Embark on a meaningful role specializing in general ultrasound as a Sonographer. This full-time position requires an experienced imaging professional to provide high-quality diagnostic services in a contract setting.
Work Schedule:
- 7AM – 7PM, Wednesday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Perform general and specialized ultrasound scans, delivering clear and accurate imaging for patient diagnostics.
- Work collaboratively with technologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
- Document imaging findings and patient information efficiently in the digital record system.
- Adhere to strict guidelines for infection control, patient confidentiality, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications required.
- One of the following active credentials required:
- Sonography (S), Vascular Sonography (VS), or Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT
- Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), or Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS
- Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS
- DMS by MIRTP NMED
- State licensure required if position is in New Mexico
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
